Medina Christian Academy began in 1981 as a church ministry of Medina First Baptist Church. Originally called First Baptist Christian School, the name was changed in 2000 to Medina Christian Academy as enrollment grew with students from other churches and it began functioning as a community-wide Christian school.
Today, Medina Christian Academy serves families from approximately 30 congregations with an uplifting, empowering and caring education in a unique, distinctively Christian atmosphere.
We believe that the school is an extension of both the family and the church as they seek to Train up a child in the way he should go... For this reason, we invite parents to communicate regularly with teachers and staff, become active participants in their child's education and demonstrate a spirit of service to others by volunteering and supporting various fund raising events.
Medina Christian Academy, Inc. a preschool - 8th grade private school, is a full member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI); is a member of the Greater Cleveland Christian Administrators Association; and is chartered by the State of Ohio Board of Education.
