Welcome to the 6th Grade! It is a an exciting year for most students. The 6th graders are the "Top Dogs" at MCA and looked up to by the younger grades. They have a wonderful opportunity to set a Godly example for the younger students and to help excite, motivate, and encourage the entire school. It is a great priviledge they have.
This year will be a busy year. We will be busy with all of our content studies as well as many fun trips planned. There will be field trips to Rolling Ridge Ranch, The Secret Garden, The Akron Beacon Journal, the Old Stone Church, Westside Market, the Creation Museum, and Swings N Things.
Mrs. Metter and Mrs. Clark team teach the 5th and 6th grades. Mrs. Metter is the 6th grade homeroom teacher and teaches reading, English, and science to both 5th and 6th grades. Mrs. Clark is the 5th grade homeroom teacher and teaches history and math to both grades. Mrs. Metter and Mrs. Clark teach Bible to their homeroom classes.
